Fire being fought at a shopping centre

Did Cultists set dangerous St. Davids Shopping Centre Fire?

A prank gone wrong? Or Arthurian cultists attacking the newly opened Sharpes Shopping Centre in St. Davids?

Karl Sheepshank, butcher and proprietor of Knife + Apron, claims to have seen “youngsters in dark robes” fleeing the scene of Friday night’s fire.

“Was about four of em, maybe five,” said Sheepshank. “They were running off and one of em had smoke coming off his robe. Little mate needed to stamp it out with his trainers.”

According to Sheepshank, the fire impacted about £2,666 worth of inventory, a setback, but not a devastating one.

“I’m hoping to be able to cure the meats and maybe make some sausages for Christmas,” Sheepshank said.

The fire in St. Davids marks the fourth fire in as many weeks connected with the Pendragon Cultists, an anarchist Arthurian cult that believes the legendary king is destined to return, and in doing so, restore Welsh independence.

Other acts of arson connected to the cult have followed a similar pattern. Small towns in Wales with new or announced shopping centres have been targets, though the blaze in St. Davids is the first to cause significant property damage.

The Pendragon Cultists website was down at the time of this reporting, and a representative could not be reached for comment.
